Moxie

Moxie is a shy girl who is gaining more confidence every single day!  She has a sweet, inquisitive personality and is very interested in being around all of the action.  Over the past three weeks, Moxie has gone from staying safely tucked under a bed at all times to exploring the house, assessing which humans are walking through the door and lounging on the back of the couch.  Moxie is still learning how to be held and cuddled - though she’s making MAJOR progress! - but she loves to lay near you and purr while you pet her.  Moxie’s passion in life is food.  She will meow at your feet while you prepare her meals and has been known to sneak into the kitchen asking for a late night snack.  Moxie loves to chase toys across the floor and climb the cat tree, but her FAVORITE activity is chasing the laser.  This game will definitely wear her out - plus she gets a treat when it’s over to reward her for all of her good work!  Once finished, you can find Mox napping on the heated blanket on the back of the couch.  Moxie has spent the last three weeks with an adult cat and a large golden retriever.  She is comfortable around each of them and really seems to like their company.  Moxie prefers adults to children at this point - children move too fast! - but with some more time, Moxie could easily integrate into any family willing to be patient and give her time to feel comfortable.
