ABOUT FERAL FRIENDS

Feral Friends was founded in 1998, incorporated in the state of Texas in 1999, and granted 501(c)3 status in 2000.

The group was founded to provide assistance to forgotten cats that are rarely seen or thought of and yet need our help just as much as any creature in need.

Feral Friends is governed by a Board of Directors and is run mostly by volunteers.
Our Board of Directors is:

THE MISSION OF FERAL FRIENDS

Our mission is to actively assist the community in reducing feline overpopulation.We accomplish this mission through an aggressive TNR (trap/neuter return) program and an adoption program to help find homes for tame cats.

PLEASE NOTE:

We ARE NOT able to do the following:
  • remove feral cats from your neighborhood, place of business, etc.
  • do the trapping and transporting of cats to the vet for you
  • loan traps for you to take cats to animal services, where they can be euthanized
We ARE able to do the following:
  • loan traps for you to take cats to a vet who participates in a TNR (trap/neuter/return) program
  • mentor you through the process of TNR
