Though he may carry a touch of sadness in his eyes—his beloved human dad recently passed away—Berto’s story is one of love and resilience. His dad made arrangements with Feral Friends to ensure Berto and his sister would be safe and cared for, and we were honored to step in.
Now settled into his new routine, Berto is blossoming. He adores his daily grooming sessions, which keep his fluffy coat looking regal. Don’t let his size fool you—it’s all fluff! His big, furry feet only add to his charm.
Berto is a true conversationalist. He’ll chat with you, respond thoughtfully, and keep you company with his gentle presence. When he’s not talking, he’s peacefully quiet, content just to be near you.
He’s also got a playful side: his favorite toy is a bright yellow banana, which he carries and cuddles with pride. At nap time, you’ll find him tucked into a tent he cleverly crafted under a draped beach towel on the day bed—a cozy hideaway that’s all his own.
