Meet Don Pedro. He has stories to tell if you have time to listen. He was one of the cats that didn’t find the shelter from the cold weather here in Garland. So, he went looking for the next best thing, a volunteer from our rescue group to bring him on in. What better place to be! After a few days of decompressing, eating and sleeping, he thought it would be best to get neutered and up to dates with his vaccinations before hitting the adoption circuit. Don is very calm, watches out the window and has used his scratching post and cat tower. His litter box manners are impeccable.
Since we don’t know about his past, we cannot be sure whether he is good with dogs or other cats. The cats he has met currently do not welcome him. He has been very respectful to them, backing away and letting them be the bosses.
