I'm happy to announce my tiny but mighty baby Poppy is FINALLY ready for adoption. Poppy is a very special girl who overcame some pretty profound obstacles to survive.
She came to me when she was 6 weeks old but she was still the size of a newborn and was very close to dying. I really wasn't feeling very confident in my ability to save her, but that didn't stop me from trying everything I could.
Little tiny bit by tiny bit, Poppy started to put on some weight and gain strength. Then her sickly looking eyes started to improve. I got so excited every time she gained even 1 gram! You have to celebrate tiny victories!
I included several pics & videos of my tiny little miracle baby so you can see just how far she's come. She truly went through an extreme transformation from an incredibly small, sickly baby with terrible looking eyes, to the stunningly BEAUTIFUL little princess she is now.
Poppy is a very petite baby girl with beautiful olive green eyes and the cutest little chin ever! She's sweet, healthy, hilarious, very friendly and she LOOOOVES to play.
She's definitely not the most athletic kid on the playground. She's actually a bit of a klutz, but that just makes her all the more adorable!
She isn't particularly cuddly, but she loves to be picked up and told how beautiful she is and get lots of kisses on her head. Her fur is soft like velvet too!
Poppy was raised as a singleton bottle baby, but she has been around our dog and a couple of my kitties. She would do well in a home with other friendly animals.
