Tobias (AKA Tobi, Tobo, the Dude) is an orange and white male with wonderful fur and a great personality. He was rescued by a nice couple who went car shopping; instead of selling them a car, the nice salesman showed them Tobias (who had been living under a car in the parking lot), who he’d been feeding and looking after. Tobias is such a gentle and sweet young man, it was obvious that he had been someone’s pet before he landed on the mean streets of Plano. He’s currently seeking a forever home where he can hang out with people.
After a day or so of warming up to a new place (whom among us doesn’t need some time to adjust?), Tobias will show his sweet and playful nature. He loves to be in the same room as people, often sitting right next to them, as they lounge on the couch. As his people move from room to room, Tobias follows and has been known to zoom past them, making sure he’s first into the room. Cat charmer toys are a favorite of his, and he also enjoys the occasional nip of catnip and a good scratch on a scratch pad. Head, chin, and jowl scratches are rarely refused.
There are some special needs for Tobias – he is FIV positive, so he must be an only cat or kept with other FIV positive cats. His foster couple was unable to test his sociability with their cats, but the nice car salesman who showed them Tobias recounts times he would see him with other cats.
This handsome, sweet, and loving boy deserve a forever home where he won’t have to worry about where his next meal will come from or hide from coyotes and bobcats as he did when living outside in Plano. Will your home be his?
